Introduction


This user guide describes how to register Samsung Android Devices to the Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform. 


System Requirements


The following instructions are relevant to Android OS version 12.

Note: The screens presented may vary depending on device and software version.


If you have a corporate phone, transfer SIM from old phone to new phone prior to activation. 


Note: Please contact TeleResult Service Desk on 02 9995 6400 (option 5, 2) to have your user account exempt from MFA prior to step 1 of the enrolment process, otherwise enrolment may fail.


1. Select ‘Start’ on the Welcome Screen.
2. Select ‘Agree to all’ and Select ‘Agree’.
3. Select 'More', then 'Agree'
4. Select 'Continue'
5. Select 'Agree'.
6. Wait while the work profile is created.
7. Select 'Skip'.
8. Select 'More', then 'Accept'.
9. Select 'PIN' as the Screen Lock type.
10. Enter a 6 digit PIN for your device and tap 'Continue'. The PIN cannot be repeating or in sequence (e.g 222222, 123456)

Enter your new PIN once more to confirm. 
11. Select 'OK'.
12. Select 'Accept & Continue'
13. Enter your email address and select 'Next'.
14. Enter your network password and select 'Sign in'.
15. Select 'Install'.
16. Select 'Done'.
17. Select 'Set Up'.
18. Select 'Sign In'.
19. Enter your network password once more and
select 'Sign In'.
20. Select 'Register'.
21. Select 'Next'.
22. Select 'Done'.
23. You are now at the home screen. To access your work apps, Swipe Up to access your apps.

Note:  Please register for Multi-Factor Authentication prior to corporate application setup and use.
24. Select the 'Work' profile tab from the bottom of the screen.

Work apps are marked with a work badge (briefcase icon) to distinguish them from personal apps.

Note: Additional work apps can be installed via the Play Store within the work profile.
25. Outlook and Teams will automatically install. It may take up to 10 minutes depending on internet connection.

Select 'Outlook' to open the app.
26. Select 'Add Account'.
27. Select your email account (tick box), then select 'Continue'.
28. Select 'Continue'.
29. Select 'Maybe Later'.
30. You should now be at your Inbox. Emails will begin to download.
